It has very reliable surf and is an amazing place to surf. This is where the local surf school ESB Audierne is based. "St Tugen" is a beautiful beach break in the middle of the protected sand dunes of Trez Goarem. "Gwendrez" near Plouhinec is also a very reliable spot. The ESB Audierne gives lessons starting from 5 years old (Jardin des vagues) at the Baie des Trépassés and rents boards and wetsuits in season.
